BU_HW wins Gold at iGEM

BostonU_HW presented their project TERRA at the 2018 iGEM Giant Jamboree. Members of the team include engineering students Ezira Yimer Wolle, Maggie Wu, Peyton Tierney, Mohammad Uddin, and mentor Shane McCormack. Their project TERRA automates microfluidic sample outputs into standard labware, aiming to be "The Bridge Between Microfluidics and Benchtop Biology". The interdisciplinary project combined microfluidics, hardware, and software to help increase access to microfluidics for synthetic biologists. Thanks to their efforts the team won Gold and was nominated for the Best Software Tool and Best Hardware awards. Congrats team!
