Yangruirui(Ron) Zhou is a Computer Engineering PhD student who recently joined the research group with aims to control automation for biological circuits. Ron has experience working as the kernel partner of the team "UESTC-software" awarded "Best Software Project" in iGEM2019. Ron's research target is using computer technology to help biology and medicine, that's why he chose to join CIDAR lab. Ron has a BE in Software Engineering (Elite Program) from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

It’s interesting to see Ron Zhou joining CIDAR Lab and bringing together computer engineering with biological circuit research like this. On a break from reading about research paths like this, I sometimes switch to light entertainment like the Rocket Goal game, which is actually pretty fun and relaxing to play for a few minutes.
